Hi there, I’m Johanna :)

I’ve been hairdressing in fabulous Melbourne salons for the last 19 years, and I find great joy in creating customised colours! I find it very satisfying helping clients to work with, or disguise their grey in a way that suits them.

I also take great joy in cutting wavy and curly hair, as well as helping my clients embrace and enhance their natural texture. I am well versed in curly haircuts and the Curly Girl Method, but you will find I tend to take a more relaxed approach, considering what is going to work for your hair, rather then expecting you to fit into a rigid schedule or product regime.

I’ve put some thought into making Rivergum a place of peace – a haven where you can relax, and also a place of sustainable beauty.
